Day Eight

September 5, 1999

Bowling Green, KY

The morning started in Nashville, with a drive up to Bowling Green for the Day's events.

Here's the 99 hardtop everyone is trying to win in the raffle. The lift doesn't come with the car.

Here's a shot of the back of the car.

This is the barrel being used for the raffle. It's about the size of a 55 gallon drum, so odds aren't that great.

Here's a cutaway T56 in the museum. This will likely be MuttVette II's transmission of choice.

The statue of the man that tried to buy MuttVette from me, Mr. Tommy Morrison, next to the display of his record holding ZR-1.

One of several ZR-1 LT5 engines on display in the museum. The Museum needs a 283 on display.

Here's a 60 that drove in from Southern California.

Here's a 62 that also drove in from the southland. It looks like three solid axles represented Southern California, and I represented everything north of that.
