I spend my free time working on, driving and racing high performance Chevys. Current projects with my two sons are the restoration/reconstruction of a 1961 Corvette, the retrofit of modern suspension and drivetrain into a 69 Camaro I've owned for the last 22 years, and modifying our 1988 Corvette for higher speeds and eventual membership in the 200 mph club while Open Road Racing.
In 1999, I caravaned to Bowling Green, Kentucky, with a bunch of corvette enthusiasts for the fifth anniversary of the National Corvette Museum. For the 50th Anniversary caravan, I was only lucky enough to cover the first 250 or so miles out to Nevada due to other commitments.
