The first trip to the strip with the TH400 resulted in a new best ET and mph on the last pass.  The 1.48 60' and 1/8th mile ET of 6.55 were also new bests.  The timeslip made me happy, but the fact that the car performed flawlessly and didn't seem on the verge of breaking felt even better.  I'm hoping there is another tenth in the driver, a tenth in the air (it was in the 80s), and a tenth in the chassis.

One interesting tidbit is that the mph with the new slushbox was better than my best with the 6-speed.  I credit the MBA MAF ends with the extra power needed to overcome the TH400 and 4000rpm stall torque converter loses.  Nothing else on the engine changed.

Changes since previous best in red.
